He sent me a message Sunday night to let me know that he had arrived safe (I'm old. It was midnight. He knew I would be on the 3rd level of passed out by then).
So Monday morning we talk and he says "Well, my suitcase and I arrived last night!"
"I'm so excited for you! You are going to have so much fun...
Wait. Just you and your suitcase?" Hmmm.
"Yeah. My golf clubs are hanging out in Boston."
"Bost... what? How in the world does that make sense?"
"Tell me about it."
"They don't even have similar airport codes. Not even close."
"Opposite sides of the country."
"Oh, geez..."
"All I know is that they better be here by 2."
"Yeah, right."
Well, kudos to Delta. Benj actually did get his clubs by 2pm. There is hope in flying the friendly skies yet.
So he calls a little while later to tell me that they are playing at this place called Royal Links. I take a second to check it out online. Yes, this is where my better half is hanging out:

As I stare at 4 beige walls and a computer screen.... such a lovely view.
Then today he calls (while he is relaxing in the jacuzzi - in their hotel suite. SUITE. Gag.)
"So we got up and had this great breakfast, and before we go see the magic show tonight we are going golfing at this place called Reflection Bay."
"Oh yeah, is it nice?"
"You should check it out, there are pictures online."
Dang-it.
So I look and find this:

I guess its a lot better than some of the other things they could be playing in Vegas. Ha. :)
In memory of all lost and unclaimed golf clubs everywhere,
