A Little Visit

Hey crowd!

We had a blast with the Hefners in town last weekend! The park, the fireworks, the concert, and just being able to hang out (and beat my brother-in-law at a ruthless game of Phase 10), we enjoyed it all. It was great just to relax and get to hang out together, especially since we rarely get the chance.

On a light note, here are some valuable lessons I learned from my nephews this weekend. I think they are very important to know, so I thought I should share:
- Lipstick can be easily removed from carpet with a liquid solution of OxiClean.
- A bathtub is made for splashing. Forget the chore of bathing, splash and live a little!
- All noodles are created equal. This is the food of the king babies everywhere.
- Where there is sand, it is to be played in. With gusto.
- There is no joy like the joy of running through a sprinkler. Or kung-fu fighting it.
- There is no sleeping in.
- All juice cups are not created equal.
Here are a few shots of my little buddies ( I don't know about you, but gosh I think they're cute)-

Ummm, do you see a trend here? This is Will:

And this is Charles :

I would say they are both wide open.
One for food, and one for energy.
Will is fearless when it comes to edibles and I have to say, this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is part Baranski blood. And Charles is fearless when it comes to energy. I don't know how my sister does it, but just trying to keep up with him wore. me. out. His tank is endless. Its amazing. Sis, you are my hero.

Here we are celebrating the fourth with the Teagues

And enjoying a little grub on the patio (pre Phase 10 slaughter):

Til next time, hope everyone out in the blogosphere had a great holiday!

Love and Sno-Cones,

D
