Yesterday we went for our follow up ultrasound.
I was called back a little early, so Ben was on his way, but not quite there yet, so the sweet ultrasound tech said she would just try to get the measurements she needed and wait for Daddy to get in to do the fun stuff, like the 4D ultrasound.
While she was taking measurements, I asked her if she would mind pointing out the cysts to me when she went over them so I could see where they were. "Absolutely", she said.
When she scanned over our baby's head, I could see something, and I asked if those were the cysts. I don't really know what she said, but she said no, it was something else, something normal.
"Oh, ok", and I waited.
Then she said with the brightest smile I swear I've ever seen, "Sweetie, there's nothing to point out. Those things are gone."
No more words. My throat closed and my eyes filled so fast I had to remind myself to breath, and the first breath was, "Thank you."
Ben came in two minutes later, we had fun watching her on 4D, and then were let back out into the waiting room to wait for our doctor.
We were sitting there looking at the sonogram print out, and I told him that I has asked to see the cysts when they scanned them. Ben asked what they looked like.
"I don't know. They weren't there."
The look in my husband's eyes and the way he praised our Lord was one of the most priceless things I have ever seen.
So is this :)
Meet our Alayna Grace.
(Ok , so 4D ultrasounds are kinda weird. All lumpy and stuff. Ben said later that it sort of looked like something out of the Pirates of the Caribbean. Hilarious.)
I know in the grand scheme of things these cysts were small on a scale of many, many other scary possibilities, but regardless, I don't take for granted the power of prayer. And we had many, so for all of you who sent sweet notes and messages, for the phone calls, and best of all prayers for our sweet girl, we thank you deeply. And Him. He is so good.

Dae and Ben -
God is so good. I knew He would just handle it and I'm so glad you guys were able to find out soon. I love you all!!
Baby has a name and all is well! I am thrilled!!
Sweet Hallelujah!! (and how funny that those weird little words that we have to type out to prove that we are not a machine spelled out 'howoo'...I think it's a form of Hallelujah.)
Yay! I was thinking about you today & wanted to see if you had any updates on yor blog... SO glad all is well:)
