A little belated, but I still had to give a shout out to the sweetest Dad around. They just don't come any better.
Kaelyn and I made a stepping stone for Ben to mark his first Father's Day... we figured with his love of yard work and gardening, it was a pretty cool gift. What we (I) didn't figure was how I was going to maneuver two tiny feet to get a good imprint in that thing all by myself. Its a good thing my mother in law was here to help squeeze those feisty little legs with me or that thing would have been a hot mess.
Also, let it be known that our child is going through some phase and despises having anything on her feet, especially wet cement. Ok , so probably nobody likes wet cement on their feet... but whatev, it turned out pretty cute, so I guess it was worth the aggravated scream she let me have afterwards. Oops.
So here they are... I'm not sure who is more smitten, Ben or Kaelyn, but I could just eat them up.
(I would like to point out that Ben's shirt does read: D.A.D.D - Dads Against Daughters Dating. Awesome.)
Madly in love,

great idea on the stepping stones....we may do those as a belated gift....since we were kind of out of the loop on the actual day!
