We Party and Make Stuff

April has started off with a bang. Birthday parties and gardens, banana pops and an obsession with bath time. We've been busy.

The past few weeks I have fallen into bed and slept like nobody's business. Especially after breaking out the cocoon (otherwise known as the pregnancy pillow the size of Florida).  Mix an almost two-year old, Springtime, 20 weeks of pregnancy and life in a blender and what do you get?? Glorious exhaustion.

Here's what we've been up to:

Kaelyn and her sweetheart of a best friend from school. These two are peas in a pod. Probably one of the most precious things I've ever seen.
Birthday party # 1 of 4 this month. Let them eat cake!!

My hard workin' man and my raised garden bed, in the works.
Tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries, herbs... I'll be making some kick butt salads this summer.

Homemade banana pops. It was our morning project while Dad slept in last Saturday, so I couldn't get any pictures in between the little hands stabbing things with popsicle sticks and licking chocolate straight off the banana before it hardened, but it was by far one of the funniest and sweetest times with my little sous chef. We had a blast. These will be a summertime staple here at the White residence.

And with all the chocolate, dirt and birthday cake icing, (and because someone, not me, kind of melts down if there is something sticky or dirty on her persons as soon as play is done) we throw in a couple water color tablets and some rubber ducks and have a bubble bath.

Lots of splashing is involved.

Happy Springtime!!
