There are some things you just don't get right the first time as a parent. Ok, a lot of things. I could make you a very long list. But more on that later....
Luckily my child has no reservations about letting me know loud and clear what she does and does not enjoy.
Case in point:
First Bath at home. HATED it. It broke our hearts. Look at that precious pitiful face!
"MOM!! Get me out of the SINK!"
So a week later we tried again, but used the fancy-shmancy bathtub....
Yeah. Look who's grinning now!
Turns out she just needed a little more pampering.
No, really, the secret is she liked being submerged in the water, not just having a little bit on her bottom like we did in the sink.
Nice.
Here's to fresh bathed beauties everywhere!

Another trick if she does fuss in that tub is to put a warm washcloth on her stomach to help her stay warmer in there! Worked like a charm for us...but took about a month for me to figure it out!
that's my kind of girl. Pretty soon she'll be asking for candles and bubbles.
