Last Day of K

There are so many words I would like to use to sum up this school year, but I think this smile captures all of them.

An incredibly joyful experience. Prayers answered beyond my comprehension. And a village that has grown in my heart that I am forever grateful for, and just a little bit in awe over. It definitely takes a village to raise these little people, and I'm the sap who may have just cried a few times over the one we have been blessed with. Never in my mind did I anticipate so much fun. And you know what? Learning is SO fun.  For all those anxious thoughts I had about my firstborn starting what she called "BIG school", I would like to officially say they did no good. Because Kaelyn, YOU ROCKED THIS. You learned the big lessons on paper, and the even bigger ones in your heart.

Also, we have taken up golf. Apples don't fall far from the trees. Kaelyn is now on a league. And Ben has figured out a way to get on the golf course weekly. FORE!

And speaking of Ben, everything is awesome. Officially done with another round of school (hallelujah and amen), and had time to play the part of Lego Batman and win the teacher talent show with his crazy awesome kindergarten team.
I only wish everyone could have seen Batman's dance moves. It was one of the highlights of my life.

Naturally, to celebrate the beginning of summer, we went to Sonic with a sweet friend, because nothing says Summer! like Sonic slushies.
