I have a lot of things to catch up on, mainly because I went to reference a recipe I couldn't find in my recipe book and remembered I had posted about it, and then realized that it was from Christmas 2010. Well.
After that realization I noticed my last post was in early August 2014, before I had one child in full-blown kindergarten and the other insisting that she was also ready to go to kindergarten, because it was very confusing for a few weeks when they started taking different rides to school. Mostly confusing for me because I felt like I was constantly trying to keep up with a life of who went where, and wait we have to actually think about the word tardy and for crying out loud what day is it?
But first, a PSA.
Life happens.
I'm figuring this one out.
And it happens pretty dang fast.
And what I loved about this space is that I could look back on it and savor it, remember it. Celebrate it. The funny, the not so funny, the food, the visits, the vacations.
Not that it wasn't being celebrated, but there is something about putting it down in black and white that makes me feel more intentional about leaving that unique and personal footprint. Because why else were we given the proverbial pen and paper if not to write about life?
So, I think I want start doing that again.
In between the mundane and extraordinary of this life. Footprints.
