One hundred and sixty two.
Nine holes of golf almost do me in. This is a whole new level of love for the game, and he takes dedication to the max.
The annual boy's golf trip extravaganza is under way, and those boys leave no course unplayed.
So, while my main man is looking at things like these :
I am blessed enough to have a mom-in-law who braves a 35-week in pregnant woman and her extreme nesting neurosis to come down and help out while he is gone.
Heaven bless this woman, she is fearless. And full of energy.
Because while I've been at work trying my best not to do a durn thing other than chew ice and walk to my car, she has been doing things like taking her granddaughter on a dream summer vacation around town.
They went on Kaelyn's first trip to Build-A-Bear. . .
Out for ice cream....
And because Lu loves Winnie the Pooh juuuuuust a little bit (her youngest son's name? Christopher Robin. Her email? Oneacrewoods) they went on a movie date to see the new Pooh. Second time for Kaelyn, not that she minded in the least bit. It's that good :). If you haven't seen it, you should. It is about the sweetest thing and so funny... Ben and I always get a good laugh out of these guys. And when Lu and Kaelyn got home, the first thing she said was something about this scene- which was also my favorite.
Of course, things like this also happen when Ben is away -
I tried to move it. That was comical.
Luckily I was home alone, and stopped when I realized that me trying to wrestle with a 150 lb. wet, slippery tree limb was pretty unproductive.
Unless of course it spurred labor, which I'll be honest, I'd be totally ok with.
Love being pregnant. Hate the heat. And the heat probably isn't going anywhere, so I figure I'm the one that will need to give in this situation.
Waddle waddle quack quack,
xo dae
